Common Call Center Interview Questions

It’s been few weeks now from the day I submitted my resignation to my previous employer. I am still waiting for my final pay from them, sayang din yun.

Common Call Center Questions:

1       Tell me about yourself.
2      Why did you leave your last job?
3       Why call center?
4      What is you short and long term goal?
5      What are your weaknesses?
6       How to do you provide excellent customer service?
7       Who do you see yourself after 5 years from now?
8       How would you describe the color blue to a blind person?
9       Do you have any question for me?

No need to have an American accent; spontaneity and thought organization are both important during the interview. Since you are applying for a front liner position, like customer service representative and technical support representative, communication skills is important. Interviewer measures the ability of the applicant to convey his/her point in English language; so be HONEST, be natural and be yourself! Impress the interviewer with your ability!

Leaving for a Greener Pasture

Araw-araw akong nakakatanggap ng mura mula sa aming mga subscribers na Pilipino, since we are providing customer service and technical support for a local telecom company – prepaid.

It’s been 8 months now working with this company; handling the same tasks everyday, speaking and helping others – that’s one of the disadvantages of working in a call center, being stuck to the same task. At first everything was fine, pero habang tumatagal medyo hindi na maganda ang pakiramdam ko at parang gusto ko na talagang kumawala.

Nangyari pang nagkasakit ako ng dalawang araw, and I wasn’t able to inform my supervisor. He tried to reach me out, but when he called me, tulog ako dahil nga not feeling well. Aminado naman ako sa mga nangyaring yun, so I informed my sup that I will be going to present my resignation letter when I get back, nahiya ako eh.

Today, I just presented my resignation letter; my supervisor received and signed it. But, when I proceeded to our Program Manager to have it signed, she wrote “AWOL” on top right side of my letter. She explained that she was informed by my supervisor about what happened.
